Okay, day two in Australia.

Wow. Just wow. I'm only here two days and I already love it here. Every day I wake up looking across the valley, the mountains, the trees, it's just amazing. Can't say the flight was easy to do though. 24 hours in total. Not fun.

I love seeing all my family out here. It's great to finally meet cousins I'd never seen in my life.

Also think I'm surviving jetlag quite well. Though am absolutely exhausted now. So much planned for the next couple of weeks- going whale watching next Monday, going up to the Barrier Reef in a couple of weeks, and going to Sydney at the end of July too!!!! Still feels like a dream that I'm actually here, I can't believe it!

Gonna sign off now, probably bedtime :)

Laters.

So it is currently...a quarter to one in the morning, and I'm making my first blog post.
Tomorrow I'm making my first adventure, leaving the soggy shores of Ireland to spend two months in Australia. Which I honestly, cannot believe is happening! Still doesn't feel real at all. Am totes excited (no shit Sherlock), though just cannot believe I get to begin my life's adventures so soon. Not even finished my Leaving Cert exams a week and I'm gone. Sums me up to be honest.

Travel is my one ambition in life. My dad, the man who spent 10 years in Australia, not to mention time in New Zealand, South Africa, Singapore, India, taking a train across Europe, before settling down in a tiny house with a wife and two tiny kids on the aforementioned Emerald Isle, managed to see 4 out of 6 continents. I want to see them all.

And tomorrow, I'm beginning my travels! I want to keep up this blog, to share my experiences of the world as I see it. Because for me, my life is just beginning.
